4:48 Okay I've watched this twice...and it's really good. But this part doesn't make sense. Given their reaction when she enters the room, why would they leave the laptop sitting there? Bcuz in the previous scene, the laptop is a hot potato it's like the FOCUS of the whole scene: something's up with the laptop. And then immediately they just forget all about it, 100% and run off? Nah they didn't even have TIME to forget about it tho

i mean nice filmwork but the writing... yeeesh. Unoriginal in concept as it simply echoes tired political tension amongst the 2 humanoid sexes. Did you have to make all males look like shit? You couldn't have shown the good side of masculine energy as well? you simply haaad to emphasize females as purely innocent? I'm a woman and I like your colorgrading

Harmless playfulness and harmful recklessness often has a thin line in between, and youngsters can often fail to grasp this. From the casual teases in the bedroom, to the revolting secret video, this short reveals this notion through several examples. The idea that harmless playfulness verges into hurtful comments is explored in the bedroom scene. The boys teases the skinny boy about the garments on his parents bed, and as the skinny boy is looking visibly uncomfortable, they continued to tease him about the soft toy on the pillow. This showcase how there were little boundary to the tease, which indicates a lack of ability to sense a difference between playful jesting, and bodering insults. Therefore this scene aptly portrays the message that younger students can often fail to navigate between playfulness and recklessness. This notion is taken further in the boys' group chat. The texts' casual tones and several "haha" comments reveals a playful attitude, yet the messages displays utter disrespect toward the girl whom the boys are referring. The video further shows that they are videoing a helpless, passed-out girl, and lifting her skirt to write on her thigh, whilst laughing the whole way through. Their ideas of 'jokes' and 'playfulness' is in fact a disturbing, wretched, and disrespectful violation of the girl. The boys paid no attention to the helplessness of the girl, and instead took advantage of that to sexually aggrevate her and mark her body, all for the sake of fun. This again portrays how young people can have a very blurry understanding of the boundary between 'jokes' and reckless behaviours. In conclusion, the idea that youngsters can often fail to differentiate between harmless playfulness and damaging reckless is highligted in this short film. From the scene in the bedroom to the final reveal of the group chat and video, this message is repeatedly explored.

It’s great that she spoke with the counselor, but it won’t change anything. The sad reality is that nearly all men (and older boys) behave in this manner. They either participate in or enjoy watching abuse of women. It’s sad, but if women could really see men’s behavior when they think no one is watching or know their true thoughts then they would be horrified and disgusted.

I think the most important thing to take from this short film. Is more about respecting others. I’m a guy myself and find it really frustrating when they say something about other girls. it’s mainly about their beauty and comments on their “assets” or straight up calling them ugly. I relate a lot to the slim faced guy in this as we are told this is normal behavior and just want to feel part of the group but also feel it’s wrong. Not only that but there was a situation not to different from the one depicted at my school. I wasn’t involved but it broke my heart. Especially for all the girls involved. So Ladies, beauty might be the most important or least important thing in your life, but there is no need to worry about that at all. You are made and born beautiful. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Sorry for my rant I just wanted to get that out there.

It sucks when the audio is so low in a video. I turn it up and can hear it fine, it sounds good, however when a commercial comes on or the next video comes on, they are too loud. All this is fine when I am sitting at my computer. however, when I make a playlist and lay down to watch several videos and fall asleep, then a commercial or the next video comes on and it is loud. So I have to get up and adjust the volume again. This isn't as important when the video is an hour or two long, but with videos around 10 minutes each, it gets annoying having to get up and change the volume so often. Commercials have their volume settings at max, they have always done this and will not change anytime soon.
